Here’s What You Need to Make These Dunkaroo Cookies:
Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter– One of the most important ingredients in any cookie recipe is butter, and Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter is a great option. This type of butter has a lower water content than other varieties, which means it will hold up better in the oven and help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much.
Light Brown Sugar– Brown sugar is often used in homemade cookies because it helps to keep the cookies moist. It also gives them a deeper flavor and richer texture and helps to prevent the cookies from spreading too much.
White Sugar– Sugar helps to sweeten the dough and helps to keep the cookies moist and tender, ensuring that they stay fresh for longer.
Large Eggs– Eggs help to bind the ingredients together, creating a cohesive dough that is easy to work with. They also add moistness and richness, making for a flavorful cookie.
Pure Vanilla Extract– When it comes to vanilla extract, quality matters. That’s why, when baking cookies at home, it’s important to use pure vanilla extract. This will ensure that your cookies have the best flavor possible.
There is a big difference between pure vanilla extract and artificial vanilla flavoring. Pure vanilla extract is made from real vanilla beans, while artificial vanilla flavoring is made from synthetic chemicals. This means that pure vanilla extract will always taste more like the actual vanilla bean than artificial vanilla flavoring.
All Purpose Flour– All purpose flour is a key ingredient in cookies, and it’s important to use the right flour to get the best results. All purpose flour is made from a blend of different types of wheat, and it has a higher protein content than other flours, which gives it the ability to produce a taller, more tender cookie. It’s also important to use all purpose flour in cookies because it provides structure and helps the cookies hold their shape. All purpose flour is also relatively easy to find, and it’s a versatile ingredient that can be used in many different recipes.
Kosher Salt– Kosher salt is important to use in homemade cookies because it helps to regulate the amount of salt in the recipe. By using kosher salt, bakers can ensure that their cookies have just the right amount of salt. In addition, kosher salt is easier to measure than regular table salt, making it a good choice for baking recipes that call for precise measurements.
Baking Powder– Baking powder is an essential ingredient in many baking recipes, including cookies. It helps to create a light, fluffy texture and gives cookies a subtle lift.
Chocolate Chips– For homemade cookies, you want a chocolate chip that is high quality and will melt evenly when baked. This can be tricky to achieve with generic brands. You’ll also want to make sure the chocolate chips you select are of a consistent size. Chocolate chips that are too large or small can throw off the balance of your cookie recipe, so it’s best to steer clear of those.
Funfetti Sprinkles– Funfetti Sprinkles are a great way to add a little extra flavor to your homemade cookies. Not only do they add a pop of color, but they also provide a little bit of extra sweetness.
Vanilla Frosting– Vanilla frosting is a versatile and delicious topping for all kinds of cookies. It pairs well with all sorts of flavor combinations.
Dunkaroos– Dunkaroo Cookies are a type of cookie that are round and have a hole in the center and are often served with ice cream or frosting. Dunkaroo Cookies can also be dipped in chocolate or other flavored liquids.

What are Dunkaroo Cookies?
Dunkaroos were first introduced in the 1990s and were originally marketed to children. However, the cookies have become popular with adults as well. Dunkaroos are often eaten as a snack or dessert with frosting, but they can also be dunked in milk or coffee.
What are Dunkaroo Cookies Made of?
Dunkaroos are one of the most iconic snacks of the 90s. They consist of a cookie, usually in the shape of a bear or a kangaroo, with flavored frosting on top. Dunkaroo cookies are frosted cookies that are dipped in a sugary coating. The cookies are made with a sugar cookie dough that is flavored with vanilla extract.
How Many Cookies are in a Dunkaroos Pack?
The answer may surprise you: there were actually 12 cookies in each pack! That’s right, 12 whole dunkable cookies, just waiting to be dunked into that delicious icing. Of course, if you wanted to, you could always eat the cookies on their own – but where’s the fun in that? Dunking them in the icing was half the reason to eat them!

Dunkaroos brings me back to school lunches when I was a kid. I’ll have to make these for my stepdaughter since I have a son who hates sweets. Guess that’s good in the long run lol. The hubby & I might have to sneak some too! I found your blog over on Home Matters Linky Party, & I’d love to have you come over & share on Crafty Creators Link Party. It’s open every week from Thursdays at 6am thru Mondays at 11:59pm. While you’re there, you can also share on Happiness is Homemade, open Sundays thru Mondays usually, but I’ve opened it early today.
