TIPS TO MAKE STAIN GLASS COOKIES
While these cookies aren’t hard to make, there are a few tips that can really make the process go smoothly.
- Break up the jolly rancher candy as small as possible as the tinier the pieces, the faster they will melt in the oven.
- To get that stained glass effect, you need to let the cookies cool completely so that the jolly rancher center can harden.
- Make certain that you purchase a small heart-shaped cookie cutter as you don’t want the jolly rancher middle to be too large and overtake the taste and texture of the cookie.
HOW DO YOU STORE melted candy COOKIES?
All you need to do to keep them fresh is to store them in an airtight container. The jolly rancher centers will stay solid and the outer cookie edges will be soft and delicious.
