WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE MAPLE NUT COOKIES
- 1 C of butter, softened
- 3/4 C of sugar
- 3/4 C of brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs, room temp
- 1 tsp of maple extract
- 2 1/2 C of flour
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 C of white chocolate chips
- 1 C of chopped pecans
Maple Glaze ingredients:
- 1/3 C of butter, cubed
- 1 3/4 C of confectioner’s sugar
- 1/3 C of maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp maple flavoring
HOW TO MAKE MAPLE NUT COOKIES
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. While it’s hearing up, you can start prepping a cookie sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Set aside.
Using your mixer, cream together the butter and sugars until they are nice and fluffy.
Next, add in your eggs to the large bowl and beat them until mixed. Then add in your maple flavoring.
Grab a separate bowl, and whisk together your flour, baking soda and salt.
Take your dry mixture and slowly beat until combined.
Next, you’re going to want to stir in the white chocolate chips and your chopped pecans.
If you have an ice cream scoop, use this to scoop out the cookie batter and drop into onto your parchment-lined baking sheets. Make certain you leave some space between the scooped dough as the cookies will expand in the oven.
Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the tops are starting to become golden brown.
Remove from the oven at that point and let the cookies cool for 5-10 minutes. Once they are cooled you can then transfer to a wired rack to finish cooling completely. .
After the cookies are done baking, it’s time to make the glaze. Start by using a saucepan and begin melting the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove the pan off the heat.
Slowly add in the confectioners’ sugar, syrup and maple flavoring and beat them all together till smooth.

This all depends on how hungry your house is! In our house, not very long. But if you’re trying to limit sweets or just eat a few per day, there’s a good chance that these maple cookies will last several days.
